William Ervin Wilson

William Ervin Wilson, age 83 of Broken Bow, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in DeQueen, Arkansas. William was born, December 3, 1933 in Blossom, Texas, the son of Mirl Wilson and Laura Pearl Johnson. William proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married the late Lillie Strahan Wilson in May of 1962, sharing 50 years of marriage until her death in 2012. William enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his wife Lillie Wilson; parents, Mirl and Laura Pearl Wilson; brothers, Richard Wilson, Shelby Story, Calvin Wilson and  A.J. Wilson; sisters, Beverly Wilson and Laura Bascle.

His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Johnny Wilson and wife Debra of Idabel, Oklahoma, Mike Wilson and wife Sheila of DeQueen, Arkansas and Danny Wilson and wife Sandy of Wickes, Arkansas; grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Cody Wilson, Brook Wilson, Grant Wilson, Christopher Hester, Beau Hughes and Jamie Fulsom; great grandchildren, Haylin Boyd, Leland Wilson, Carsin Wilson, Cale Fulsom, Caleb Fulsom, MaKenna Fulsom and Corey Wilson; two  brothers, Willie Story and Ernest Wilson of Paris, Texas; two sisters, Betty Cole of Antlers, Oklahoma and Martha Kyzer of Paris, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch- Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at the Holly Creek Cemetery in Holly Creek, Oklahoma.
