Willie Ralph Story, 62, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away July 31, 2019 at OU Medial Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
The son of William and Pearl (Johnson) Story, Willie was born October 14, 1956 in Hugo, OK. He attended Idabel Public Schools and worked for R&R Trucking. He enjoyed squirrel hunting, fishing, traveling (especially to the Smokey Mountains) and listening to Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Story; four siblings, Laura Bell Bascle, Shelby Story, Richard Wilson, Ervin Wilson; stepfather, Claude Martin; granddaughter, Kelena Pearl Story; brothers-in-law, Kay Kyzar, Tony Bascle, and Willard Cole; sister-in-law, Lillie Wilson.
Willie is survived by four children, Larissa Smith of Beaver Dam, WI, Willie Story Jr. and his wife, Catherine, of Idabel, Joshua Story and his wife, Donita, of Idabel, Shylah Story-Martin and her husband, Shawn of Ardmore, OK; grandchildren, Airean Landreth, Trenton Smith, Dalton Smith, Gavin Smith, Christian Story, Cierra Story, Damon Story, Shelby Story, Nathan Story, Masiah Lorens, Amiah Lorens; sisters, Martha Kysar of Paris, Texas, Betty Cole of Antlers; sister-in-law, Pauline Wilson of Powderly, Texas, Neva Lois Story of Holly Creek numerous nieces, nephews, local nieces and nephew, Stormey Taylor, Laura Lynn Flowers and Roland Bascle who helped in his care.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Holly Creek Cemetery in Holly Creek, Oklahoma.
