Allen Going

Allen Gipson “Chop” Going, 63, of Watson, OK, passed from this life on Sunday, January 5, 2020. Allen was born on January 25, 1956 in Talihina, OK, to Isom Going and Elizabeth (McGee) Going. He lived in the McCurtain County area all of his life and was a logger by trade.

Allen enjoyed hunting and fishing; especially squirrel hunting. The family remembers him as tender hearted, having a dry sense of humor, and being a hard worker. Allen loved to talk about the Lord, spend time with his family and going to church camp when he was younger.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Isom and Elizabeth Going; brother, Larry Going; brother-in-law, James Ford; and sister-in-law, Charlotte Going.

Allen leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Winfred Wayne Going and wife, Sharon, of Mineola, TX, Isom Going Jr., of Watson, OK.; sisters, Dusty Rose Bohanan and husband, Jerry, of Smithville, OK, Edna Rowan and husband, Randy, of Watson, OK, Carol Going, of Watson, OK, Karen Going, of Watson, OK, Loretta Going, of Watson, OK; and sister-in-law, Rebecca Going, of Broken Bow, OK; aunt, Mary Fox, of Dierks, AR; as well as, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a host of other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at the Indian Mission Baptist Church, in Smithville, OK, Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Josh Harjo and Bro. Todd Webb officiating.

Interment will follow at Kulli Tuklo Cemetery in Watson, OK.
