Allen "Wendell" Eason

Wendell Eason passed from this life June 1, 2021, at the age of 78. He was born January 25, 1943, in Golden, OK the son of George and Weacie (Ruth) Eason.

Wendell and Louise Eason were united in marriage on October 13, 1962 and shared fifty-four years before her passing in 2017. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Jessie Eason, and Jimmy Eason both of Wright City, OK.

Wendell retired from Weyerhaeuser after forty plus years and was a poultry grower for Tyson for several years. He enjoyed hunting, playing dominoes with his brothers, brothers-in-law, and nephew. He cherished spending time with his sons and grandsons.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Weacie Eason; his loving wife, Louise Eason; brothers, Carl Eason, Alvin Eason, and Wayne Eason; sisters, Alice Altom, Myrtle Gregory, Doris Helms, LaVern Toliver and Lavennie Eason; daughter-in-law, DeSheila Eason; grandson, Justin Eason.

He is survived by his sons, Jessie Eason, and Jimmy Eason both of Wright City; sisters, Dollie Cunningham of Golden, Inez Claborn of Broken Bow, Marie Stout and husband, Don of Garvin; grandchildren, Morgan Eason and Cameron Chandler; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 4, 2021, at Green Chapel Assembly of God Church, Herndon Community with Bro. Lyn Gaskey and Bro. Harvey Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City, OK.
