Anita Lynn McGowen passed from this life Friday, January 6, 2023 in Idabel, OK at the age of 66. She was born April 18, 1956 in DeQueen, AR the daughter of George Jr. and Georgia (Copeland) Touchstone.

Anita married the love of her life, David McGowen June 6, 1974 at Broken Bow First Assembly of God. They shared forty-eight wonderful years together.

Anita attended Broken Bow First Assembly of God Church. She loved all of her family, which included her church family, extended family and daycare family. She loved fishing, sewing, crafting, playing the piano, her fur babies and especially family vacations. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Jr and Georgia Touchstone and mother-in-law, Lena McGowen.

Anita leaves to cherish her memory husband, David Eugene McGowen of the home; her daughter, Melissa Kilmer and husband, Jason of Goldsby, OK daughter, Kristy Jack and husband, Bob of Norman, OK, son, Jonathan McGowen and wife Jessica of Bethany, OK; father-in-law, Sid McGowen of Broken Bow; brother, Buddy Touchstone and wife, Jennifer Touchstone of Broken Bow; sisters, Mary Powell and fiancé, Gary Edington of Norman and Gayla Orr of Stigler, OK; grandchildren, Morgan Battiest and Jordan Kilmer of Goldsby, OK and Lakyn Jack of Norman, OK; special nieces and nephews, Joshua, Tiffany, Jackson and Kinley Touchstone all of Broken Bow; brother-in-law, Chuck McGowen and wife, Greta of Broken Bow; nieces and nephews, Grant, Leah and Madison Powell, Timothy and Summer McGowen, Stephanie and Nick Trougakos, other nieces, nephews, family and special friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Broken Bow First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Bobby Mason, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Crown-Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK.
