Autrey (A.W.) Slabaugh

Celebrating the life of Autrey William (A.W.) Slabaugh. Born December 9,1932 in Wright City, OK to Henry and Ona Slabaugh. A.W. married Pearlie Mae Cunningham on October 4, 1963. They lived a very happy, fun life until Pearlie Mae’s death on February 25, 2012. A.W. served his country as a proud Marine, also serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed being a long-haul truck driver, watching girls softball on T.V., old westerns, wrestling and reading lots of books He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.   

A.W. was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ona Slabaugh, his wife, Pearlie Mae Slabaugh; his grandson, Dalton Clint Compton, five brothers and two sisters.

Autrey leaves to cherish his life daughter, Audrey Mills and husband, Jack of Eagletown, OK, daughter, Lisa Compton and husband, Keith of Broken Bow, OK; son, Jacky Nave of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Jacky Nave Jr., Johnathon Nave, Jennifer Mills, Julia Mills, Demi Collins, McKenzie Collins, Ashley Compton, Chad Hill, Jill Robinson, Brian Burris, Casey Claborn; one great grand baby, Tripp Bray one constant companion, his dog Rusty. A host of loving family and friends.

Visitation for friends and family will be Thursday, November 5,2020 from 6-8p.m. at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home Broken Bow, OK.

Funeral Services will be Friday,  November 6,2020 at 10:00 a.m.  Victory Life Church, Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery Broken Bow, OK.
