JoAnn Leonard, 88, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away on June 25, 2021, at Broken Bow Health and Rehab.
The daughter of Benjamin and Grace (Coleman) Treece, JoAnn was born on February 13, 1933, in Leslie, Arkansas. After graduating from high school, JoAnn married Pete Leonard on December 23, 1963. She was an extremely hard worker and worked various jobs throughout her lifetime. JoAnn loved her family but was not afraid to give them her opinion on different matters. She was very outspoken but humorous and kept everyone around her entertained. JoAnn was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete; parents, Benjamin and Grace Treece; children, Terry, Randy, Travis and Tami; daughter-in-law, Tracy; brothers, Pete, Pee-Wee, Carl, Danny and Bill; sisters, Patsy, Johnnie, Hazel and Louie Marie; grandson, Travis Don Edgin and Jasper Leonard.
JoAnn leaves to cherish her life, children, James Leonard and his wife, Brooke, of Ft. Meyers, FL, Scott Leonard of Broken Bow, Liane Leonard and Claudie Bailey of DeQueen, AR, Tommy Leonard and his wife, Rhonda, of Broken Bow, Tena Tipps and her husband, Jerry, of Austin, TX, Tonia Parker and her husband, Doyle, of Austin, TX, Kim Leonard and his wife, Nancy, of Sonora, CA; brothers, Henry Treece and his wife, Diane, of Little Rock, AR, Buster Treece and his wife, Ruble, of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Allie Jean Victory of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Donald, Josh, Jimbo, Amber, Emma, Jason, Jennifer, Jasmine, Zack, Jake, John, Jeremy, Ashlei, Devin and Jerrod; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; special friends, Hattie Barrick, Robbie Moore, and Carolyn Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at the Eagletown Assembly of God Church.
A dinner for all family and friends will be at Noon before the service at Eagletown Assembly.
