Benny Elliott passed away on July 15, 2025, in his hometown of Wright City, Oklahoma at the age of 71. Born on April 12, 1954, to Rayburn and Jane (Thomas) Elliott, Benny's roots run deep in the community he loved.

 On February 22, 1985, Benny married the love of his life, Susan Moye in Wright City, OK. Their union was blessed with two children, Cody and Amanda Elliott.

Benny was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Wright City; Benny honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he returned to Wright City and dedicated many years to working at the local mill. His strong work ethic and sense of camaraderie made him a respected figure both at work and within the community. Benny enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and tending to his garden. His playful spirit often led to light-hearted moments, especially when he was "aggravating" his dogs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved son, Cody, and his sister, Florence Compton.

Benny leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Susan of the home; daughter, Amanda Elliott of Massachusetts; sister, Doris Crews of Broken Bow, OK, grandchildren, Garrett Elliott and his wife, Breanna, Seth Watson and Aubrey Watson; great-granddaughter, Naomi Elliott; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Graveside Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July19, 2025 at Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City, OK with Scott Brumley officiating.
