Betty Lou Tom, 56, of Broken Bow, passed from this life, July 26, 2021, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
Betty was born on June 30, 1965, to Robert Roy and Melissa (Peters) Bohanan.
Betty was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She enjoyed beading, reading, scrolling Facebook, and watching her kids and grandkids play stickball and social dance. She loved spending time with her family. She always made everyone she met feel like they were family.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Robert Bohanan; sisters, Linda, Margaret, Eunice, Mary, and Emma; and brother, Virgil “Cubby”.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 38 years, Jimmy Tom; mother, Melissa Bohanan; sons, Joey Tom and wife, Hope, of Wright City, Jared Tom and Kailyn Ward, of Calera; bonus son, Todd Wesley and family; daughters, Gennavie Tom and Dewayne Hornbuckle, of Wister, Margo Tom, of Broken Bow; brother, Herbie Bohanan and wife, Marvada, of Battiest, Lois Bohanan, of Bethel, Brenda James and husband, Tony, of Antlers; 7 grandchildren, Konnor, Raynie, Audrina, Taven, Alec, Ace, and Ollie; and numerous nieces, nephews, others family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM, Sunday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 2, 2021 at Slater Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Mike Amos officiating.
