Betty Sue Wells passed from this life July 13, 2022 in Idabel, OK at the age of 55. She was born February 21, 1967, in DeQueen, AR the daughter of Denton Blackwell and Thelma (Simmons) Blackwell.

Betty was a member of the Truth Tabernacle Church in Idabel. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Jerry Leo Wells February 24, 2022; her parents, Denton Ray Blackwell and Thelma Joyce Simmons; sister, Tracy Rae Blackwell.

Betty is survived by her children, Denise Rae Boulton of Idabel, Johnny James Boulton of Broken Bow, Allie Leigh Wells of Idabel, Jerry Ray Wells of Millerton (Jessica Harris); four granddaughters, Desiree` Mae’lee Culp, Katelyn Ann-Marie Johnson, Acelynn Grace Blackwell and Bryleigh Jo Boulton: grandson, Brantley Sean Blackwell; one nephew, Jeremy Leonard; mother-in-law, Billie Jean Carr: a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 Tuesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel..

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday afternoon at Truth Tabernacle Church, 910 SW Bokhoma St. Idabel, OK with Don Moore officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Grove, OK.
