Billy Dale Sory, 23, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Born on March 5, 2001, in Talihina, Oklahoma, Billy was known for his good-hearted nature and vibrant presence. He brought joy and laughter to any gathering, often being described as the life of the party and a ray of sunshine. Billy was an old soul. 

Billy was a passionate individual, whether it was strumming his guitar, riding his motorcycle, or spending time with his cherished cat, Yuki. His love for animals was profound; he enjoyed hunting, but his gentle heart often steered him away from harming any creature. He enjoyed playing his Xbox and video games.  A hard worker, Billy was proud to be a fourth-generation concrete finisher, a trade passed down through his family.

Billy is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Odel and Annabelle Ray; Cora Wallace; Shirley Nichols; Trebber Sory, Sr, grandfathers, Keith Sory, Sr., grandparents, Jack and Teresa Young; Aunt Nancy Savage, uncles; Trebber Sory, Jr, Jimmy Sory, Allen Sory, and his friend Landon Drake.

He is survived by his loving parents, Keith and Jacqueline Sory; brothers, Zachary and Bailey Sory, Travis and Geordan Sory; sisters, Cheyenne Sory, her partner Jaden Coley; Lacy and Jerrett Shields; nieces and nephews; Layla, Amelia, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Felicity, Eva, Lily, Mari and Gage who loved their Uncle Billy so much; grandmother, Georgia Lawrence; grandfather, Daran Baker; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Family Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Services for Billy are Saturday, October 19, 2024, 11:00AM, at Victory Life Church in Broken Bow, OK with Mike McGovern officiating.  Burial will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oakhill Community.  Billy's memory will be cherished by all who knew him as a beacon of happiness and a true friend.
