Bryant Hadley Obituary

Obituary

Warland Bryant Hadley, 81, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 13th, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones.

Bryant was born on April 8th, 1940, in Eagletown, Oklahoma, to Warland and Norma Hadley.

Bryant or “Timberline,” as many knew him, spent a large part of his life in the log woods and most of the rest of it wrestling big flatheads into his boat, catching crappie, and chasing whitetail deer. He was a legend in his own right, where all four were concerned. He was a retired Weyerhaeuser contractor, who passed his love for logging on to his boys. He was a man who enjoyed a simple life and who could do anything that he set his mind to. He was a well of wisdom and countless stories. He is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many.

Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, Warland and Norma Hadley; and brother, Stephen Hadley.

Bryant leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda Hadley, of the home; children, Jeff Hadley and wife, Marie, of Eagletown, Mark Hadley and wife, Sandy, of Eagletown, Lisa Fisk and husband, Dale, Lockesburg, AR, Kelly Hadley and wife, Johnna, of Eagletown, Neil Hadley, of Eagletown, and Jennifer Watson and husband, Lonnie, of Broken Bow; brother, Paul Hadley and wife, Teri, of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Jennifer Webb, Ashlee and Logan Fisk, Shayla Murdoch and husband, Hayden, Cody Hadley and wife, Balie, Kearston and Kerrigan Hadley, Hodge Hadley, Mitchel Hadley and wife, Brooke, Ledger Hadley, Jaylon Watson, Reece Watson, and Mya Watson; great-grandchildren, Brailynn and Joclynn Young, and Alexandra Hadley, and a  host of cousin, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A private memorial service was held on Friday, August 13, 2021, with cremation to follow. His memory and sense of humor will continue to live on in us every day.

Please continue to pray for his family and friends.
