Brysen Wayne Jefferson, 14, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 in Idabel, OK.  Brysen is the son of Savannah Ivey of Idabel and John Smith of Broken Bow who raised him, biological father, Theodore Jefferson.  Brysen was born January 2, 2008 in Idabel, OK.

Brysen was a student at Idabel Private School.  He loved to play X-Box, ride 4-wheelers, sing, play basketball, and be on his phone and on Snapchat.  Brysen loved his family and the fun times they would spend together. Brysen was proud to watch his brother play football for the Idabel Warriors. He loved spending time with Tyler and Jaxee and dearly loved his Gigi and Papa and his dog Isabel.

He was preceded in death by aunt, Jaclyn Taylor; cousin, Madxyn Taylor; great grandmothers, JoAnn Lewis and Martha Ivey; great grandfather, John Burrows, step-great grandfather, Lawrence Montgomery and uncle, Richard Ivey.

Brysen is survived by his parents, Savannah Ivey and John Smith; biological father, Theodore Jefferson; brother, Payden Jefferson bonus brothers and sisters, Kobe Wheeler, Jadan Sanchez, Knox Smith and Mia Sanchez all of Broken Bow; uncles, Truman Ivey and Susie Coplin, Jake Ivey; cousins, Jaxee and Jaxen Ivey and a very special friend, Tyler Thomas; grandparents, Jacky and Rosetta Ivey of Broken Bow; several nieces, nephews, a host of other family and a multitude of friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Sunday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Victory Life Church of Broken Bow with Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating. Interment to follow at Broken Bow Cemetery.
