C.J. Christie passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on October 5, 1940, in Wright City, OK, to John and Lois (McKay) Christie.

C.J. and Ann Ella Miller were married fifty years before her passing on September 23, 2009.

C.J. was a member of the Broken Bow Church of Christ. He worked for Weyerhaeuser as a Craine Operator for twenty-five years. He was a member of the Model A Club. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with heavy equipment. He enjoyed breakfast at Bunches for many years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Ella Christie; parents, John and Lois (McKay) Christie; brother, Ed Christie; sister, Bobbie Joyce Rowan and grandson, Billy Aaron Stewart, Jr.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Billy Stewart of Garvin, Juanna and Joe Minter,  Janel and Bucky Snow, Jan and Wesley Muse all of Broken Bow; brother, Rick Christie and wife, Gwen of Wright City; grandchildren, Stephanie Moye, Brent Minter, Cephus Minter, Shane Batson, Weston Muse, Brandon Snow and Bucky Joe Stewart; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special friend, Wanda Goodman; he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will remember him fondly.

Graveside Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK with Tye Barnett officiating.
