Calvin Glen Middlebrook Obituary

Calvin Glen Middlebrook, 75, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on March 6, 2026. He was born June 29, 1950, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Calvin spent many years working as a bricklayer and was known for being excellent at his trade. He took pride in his work and in providing for his family.

As a young man, Calvin was an outstanding athlete and played football for the Broken Bow Savages. His talent on the field earned him a college scholarship offer. Though his playing days ended, his love for football never did. He remained a loyal Oklahoma Sooners fan and enjoyed attending games with his brother Doug and his friend T. Lloyd Wilson.

Calvin enjoyed fishing, cruising the countryside, and spending time with friends and family. Many good memories were made with his late friend Ray Thomas and his cousin Ronnie Tushka.

More than anything, Calvin was a proud dad and PaPaw. He loved his son Ricky and cherished watching his grandsons Tanner, Cooper, and Grady play in their tournaments.

Many family members knew him as “Cow Cow,” a nickname given to him by his sister Debbie when she was young and couldn’t pronounce Calvin. He was also a beloved nephew to his late Aunt B.

Calvin was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Everett; his brother, Doug Hutchison; and his nephew, Dougie Hutchison.

He is survived by his son Ricky Middlebrook and wife Trista; his father Billy Everett; his sister Debbie Everett; his brother Kelly Everett and wife Angie; his grandsons Tanner, Cooper, and Grady Middlebrook; his special cousin Ronnie Tushka; and many other family members and friends.
