Carol Dean Qualls completed her earthly journey on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at the age of 66. She was born October 4, 1956 in Carlsbad, NM to parents, Joe Clydell Berry, Sr. and Minnie Maye (Wigley) Berry.
Carol was of the Baptist Faith. She was a very loving and caring person; her family was her life. She loved sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She enjoyed working with the railroad workers, home health care and transporting dialysis patients. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Qualls; parents, Joe Clydell Berry Sr. and Minnie Maye Berry; son, Gene Qualls and sister, Shirley Kaye Berry.
Carol leaves to cherish her memory her daughter and son-in-law, Betty Whitehead and Ray Nerio of Broken Bow; son, Cody and Sarah Paige Callaway of Junction City, KS; brothers, Johnny Berry of Clovis, NM, Ronald Berry, Clyde Berry and wife Dyana all of Broken Bow; sisters, Cindy Berry of Clovis, NM, Linda Richards and husband, Jean of Missouri, Kimmie Hidlebaugh and husband, Preston of New Mexico; grandchildren, Elizabeth Qualls, Steven Qualls, Bailey Dollar, Seth Clark and Joseph Callaway; several nieces, nephews, special friend, Frances Alston and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK with Bro. Tommy McCaig officiating. Interment to follow at Broken Bow Cemetery.
