Cassie Lee Mullens was born December 11, 1982, in Fort Smith, AR to Robert and Vickie (Elliott) Mullens. She departed from this earth on April 26, 2021.
Cassie was full of life. She was friendly, never met a stranger, and always met you with a hug. Cassie enjoyed all things outdoors from camping, fishing, hunting, and riding in the woods. Even though she was a country girl at heart, she enjoyed dabbling in hair and make-up. When you saw her, you never knew what her hair color would be from time to time. She also enjoyed cooking and was good at it. Cassie was a confident woman. It was evident by her social media tagline. “I’m Me... Limited Edition.” She did things her way. There wasn’t anything that she couldn’t do. She was truly a free spirit. She will be missed dearly by all of her friends and family.
Cassie was a member of Green Chapel Church and loved the Lord.
She loved the song “Jesus Take the Wheel” and would often sing it.
Cassie was a loving mom to her three children. She loved them with all of her heart. Just recently, she was blessed with a new granddaughter.
Cassie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Jimmy and Wanda Elliott and paternal grandparents Jake and Billie Trent Mullens.
She is survived by her fiancé, Brian Bowen, her parents Robert and Vickie Mullens of Millerton, her children Makayla, Jaycie, Jason Jr, Abby, Drew, Beth, and Benny, granddaughter, Ramona Seymore, her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy Wayne and Angela and special niece Linzy, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home Friday, April 30, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM.
A celebration of life service will be held at Millerton Assembly of God Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
She will be laid to rest at Slater Cemetery in Wright City.
