Charles Raymond Armstrong Obituary

Charles Raymond Armstrong of Smithville, OK passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the age of 83. He was born November 30, 1939, to parents, Nim and Lena May (Parks) Armstrong.


He married his loving wife, Delta on November 10, 1994 and they shared twenty-seven years together. Charles was an avid fisherman and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and wood working. He loved spending time with family and friends and visiting the locals at the coffee shop. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Lim and Lena May Armstrong.


Charles leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Delta (Webb) Armstrong of the home; stepchildren, Sharon Walker and Tony Smith both of Smithville; sisters, Mary Claxton of Nixa, MO, Susan Becker of Alabama and Caroline Sinquifield both of Alabama; brother-in-law, Glen Webb and wife, Mary Ann of Broken Bow, special friend, Roy Young of Smithville; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends.


Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, December 11,2022 at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.


Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2022 at Smithville Assembly of God Church, Smithville, OK with Bro. Ron Ladd officiating.  Interment to follow at Smithville Cemetery.
