Chase Michael Shelton, of Broken Bow, passed from this life into eternity, July 16, 2021, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, he was 18 years young.
Chase was born on January 26, 2003, to Melissa Shelton.
He married Alexis McDonald in Broken Bow on February 2, 2021.
Chase graduated from Broken Bow High School in 2021. He and Alexis were planning on moving to Tulsa so that he could attend college at OSU IT this fall. He was going to be a Ford mechanic. Chase was a member of Charity Baptist Church. He loved and cherished his wife dearly and was very excited about becoming a father. Their baby will arrive in January of 2022. Chase had a dog named Kenai that he loved and was proud of. Chase enjoyed playing Pokémon Go with his wife, Alexis, driving around a lot, and listening to his loud music. He also enjoyed cooking for his wife and spending time with family and friends.
Chase was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Jesse and Mattie Markham, of Bethel, Cecil and Betty Ayres, of Albuquerque, NM, and Clifford and Laverne Shelton, of Broken Bow; great-great grandparents, Joe and Ruth Hough, of Broken Bow; and Michael Shelton.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Alexis Shelton, of the home; unborn baby Shelton; mother, Melissa Shelton, of Broken Bow and her boyfriend, Miles Emerson, of Redland; father-in-law, Brandon McDonald, of Valliant, mother-in-law, Angela Lamb, of Vian, OK; brother, Coby Shelton and wife, Hannah, of Yukon, OK; sister-in-law, Anna McDonald, of Vian, OK; nana and papaw, Rick and Kathy Ayres, of Broken Bow; Grandma Sharon Cockrell, of Holly Creek; uncle and aunt, Troy and Jenny Ayres, of Renton, WA; uncle, Travis Ayres, of Broken Bow; aunts, Rusty Cockrell and Rae Lyn Pennington; great aunt and uncle, Mary and Olen Hill of Broken Bow and Virginia and Lee Harkey, of Broken Bow; nephew, Jacob Shelton, of Yukon, OK; a niece on the way, of Yukon, OK; and a whole host of other family and friends.
A Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Charity Baptist Church, with Bro. Clint Bray officiating. Internment will follow at the Watson Memorial Cemetery in the Oak Hill Community.
