Christopher Eugene Cotton, known affectionately as Chris to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, in Antlers, Oklahoma. Born on November 3, 1979, in DeQueen, Arkansas to parents, Douglas Ray Cotton and Marylin LeJean Frazier.
Chris was a 1998 graduate of Broken Bow High School. Chris's passion for the outdoors was evident to all who knew him. An avid fisherman and hunter, he enjoyed the natural beauty of the world around him. His love for animals was just as profound, with his pets holding a special place in his heart. To say Chris was a "Biggest" Dallas Cowboys fan would be an understatement. Chris was a good brother, cousin, and uncle, known for never forgetting a birthday and always being there to celebrate life's special moments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Frazier, and his maternal grandparents, Erma Jean and Willie Frazier, as well as his paternal grandparents, Willie T. and Walter Cotton; by his best friend, Michael Maness, and other family members who have passed before him.
He is survived by his father, Douglas and his wife, Doris, of Bryan, TX; his brother, Michael Douglas Cotton of Broken Bow, OK; his niece, Krystal Cotton; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends whose lives he touched in countless ways.
Funeral Services are set for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 24, 2026, Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment to follow at Lukfata Cemetery Broken Bow, OK.
