Curtis Jamerson

Curtis “Redhound” Jamerson of Garvin, OK passed from this life on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the age of 62. He was born to Jessie Columbus and Marie (Haynie) Jamerson on August 18,1959 in Idabel, OK.

Curtis married the love of his life Rebecca Finical on January 21, 1980. Curtis worked most of his life as a truck driver most of you know as Redhound. He loved to go hunting and enjoyed cooking and smoking meats. He loved his dog Sally and took her with him everywhere on his farm. He liked to farm and enjoyed having chickens, cows, and horses. Every evening he would set on a bucket and watch his cows grazing in the field. Curtis loved his grandkids and helped to raise his oldest Casey. He adored his first grand-daughter, Remi. He also enjoyed shooting the bull with all his friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, JC “Buster” and Marie Jamerson; brother, Bob Jamerson; sisters, Betty Bastible and Jessie Gammon.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rebecca Jamerson of the home; children, Joe Curtis Jamerson (Courtney), Tiffany Jamerson and Jennifer Taylor; brothers, Alvin Jamerson (Tammy) and Danny Jamerson; sister Lenora Dempsey; grandchildren, Casey Joe Jamerson, Walker Ray Jamerson, Remi Briar Jamerson; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening September 30, 2021 at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home Chapel

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday October 1, 2021, at The Church Millerton, OK with Bro. Brent Coffey officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Garvin, OK.
