Dakota Jerald Alan Smith age 28, of Dierks, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Dierks, Arkansas. Dakota was born on October 4, 1990 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Robert Alan Smith and Cynthia. Dakota was a Savage fan and played baseball for the Broken Bow Savages. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Dakota was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Jean Watson, Judy Smith, Robert Smith; special aunt, Carla Watson; uncle, Bobby Watson.

Dakota leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Robert Alan Smith and Cynthia of Pittsburg, Texas; brother Koleman Smith of Pittsburg, Texas; sisters, Kashlyn and Harlee Smith of Pittsburg, Texas; aunt, Jeaninie Watson of Valliant, Oklahoma; cousins, Kolby, and Kason Watson, Kaitlyn Jacobs, Wyatt and Jasper Watkins, Shelby Watson, Brayson Watson, Kyndellyn Watson, Easton Watson, Kenton Watson, Kayzlee Watson, Karslyn Jacobs and special friend, Donnie Smith.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Phillip Snow officiating.

Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.
