Danah (Reed) Gilbert

Danah (Reed) Gilbert entered her Heavenly Home Monday, April 25, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 33. She was born July 29, 1988 in Idabel, OK the daughter of Mitchell Reed and Pamela OBannon.

Danah attended Victory Life Church. She loved God and her church family. She was a loving devoted mother and enjoyed having her kid’s friends over. She loved her neighborhood and was an advocate on their behalf. She was a very caring person and would reach out to help others. She always stayed active and when she wasn’t able, she made sure others were kept in line. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charlie Reed; grandmother, Pat Rudisill; grandfather, Bill OBannon; uncle, Andy OBannon; aunts, Ginger Carter and Dawn Reed.

Danah leaves to cherish her memory her children, Rylee Gibson, Pressley Gibson and Charlie Gilbert of the home; parents, Pamela and Joe Setzer of Paris, TX and Mitchell Reed of Hochatown, OK; siblings, Derek Hurst of Broken Bow, Stacy Roberts of Ft. Valley, GA and Darah Reed of Broken Bow; grandmother, Vojai Reed of Hochatown; nieces and nephews, Mckenzie and John Border of Macon, GA, Gunner Roberts of Ft Valley,GA, Bralen Reed, Chaslyn Luper, Kenadi  Henslee, Conner Hurst, Carter Hurst and Allie Hurst all of Broken Bow; aunts and uncles, Rhonda Reed and Garrett Tipton of Hot Springs, AR, Glynis Edgar and Richard Ryan, Rex OBannon of Garvin, OK, Jeff and Jennifer OBannon of Garvin, OK, Donna Parsons of Broken Bow, OK, Bobbi and Jaye Chreen of Shreveport, LA; many special cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday morning at Victory Life Church with Pastor Lynn Tomlinson officiating. Interment to follow at Hochatown Cemetery.
