Daphne Battiest Cwalina passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 44. She was born July 11, 1978 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents, Quentin and Sharlene (Young) Battiest.

Daphne loved being everyone’s mom. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, canning, hiking and camping. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her animals. She also enjoyed the Renaissance Festival as well.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Sharlene Battiest and brother, Guy Battiest.

Daphne leaves to cherish  her memory her husband, Rick Cwalina of the home; parents, Quentin Battiest and Carol of Streetsboro, OH; son, Lawson Cwalina of Oologah, OK; stepson, Ricky Cwalina of Parma, OH; brother, Eric Battiest and Vivian of Streetsboro, OH; stepbrother, Travis Battiest of Washington, DC; sister, Lavana and Todd Gilbert of Broken Bow, OK; sister-in-law, Fran Battiest of Streetsboro, OH; grandchildren, Kayla Cwalina and Shelby Cwalina; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
