David Ludlow Jr. passed away on Thursday November 10,2022 at the age of 77.
He was born on February 4,1945 to parents, David, and Mary (Sampson) Ludlow in Talihina, OK.
David moved to Dallas in 1962 and met and married his wife of fifty-five years, Geraldine, and raised his family there. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and an Oklahoma Sooner fan, a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. David was fluent in his native Choctaw language he also was an instructor in the Native American linguistics program from 2011-2014 for UTA. He was a retired steel worker for both Mosher Steel and Trinity Industries for several years. He was a member of the Good Water OKA Achukama Presbyterian Church. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Silward Ludlow Sr., his mother Mary Sampson Ludlow; brother, Joel Ludlow; sisters, Gladiola Burch, Rozella Boyter.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty five years Geraldine Ludlow of Dallas, TX; children, Kevin Ludlow and Elizabeth of Dallas, TX, David Ludlow III and Nancy of Dallas, TX; brother, Nathan Ludlow and Francis of Arlington, TX; sister, Geraldine Rowell of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Nanci Ludlow of Rockwall, TX, Trevor Ludlow of Terrell, TX, Celine Estrada and Kevin of Garland, TX, Sara Ludlow of Dallas, TX; great grandchildren Delila Estrada of Garland, TX, Felix Phipps of Rockwall, TX; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Monday November 14,2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Bunch Singleton Chapel
Interment will follow at Good Water Achukama Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
