David Lee Mize

David Lee Mize, 59, of Broken Bow, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Denver Health in Denver, Colorado. David was born, January 21, 1963, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the son of Tommy Mize and Mary Balentine Mize.

 David loved and enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time at the Re-reg.  He cherished his time with his family and friends and loved them with all his heart.

David was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Mize; sister, Lynette Fields; brother, Bruce Mize; and nephew, James Matthew Fields.

His memory will be forever cherished by his mother, Mary Mize of Broken Bow, OK; sons, David Keith Mize of Broken Bow, OK, Kevin Mize of Idabel, OK, and Kristopher Mize and wife, Jillian, of Durant, OK; brother, Dale Mize and wife, Blanche, of Broken Bow, OK; and sister, Lisa Davis and husband, Carl, of Coweta, OK; grandchildren, Kaylin Stepp-Mize, of Edmond, OK, Hunter Bohanon, of Broken Bow, OK, Jaxyn Dean, of Durant, OK, Aleigha Mize, of Durant, OK, Kylie Mize, Aurora Morrow, and Sophia Mize, all of Idabel, OK; and the mother of his children, Norma Dunlap-Combs, of Idabel, OK. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services are set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, East of Broken Bow, OK.
