Don Davis, 78, of Fouke, AR, completed his earthly journey on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 17, 1946, in Haworth, CA, the son of Emmett and Alma Davis.
Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict. He served in the National Guard for over 28 years as well. He worked as an electrician for Weyerhaeuser Co. in Wright City, OK for 20 years and finished his career at Huber in Broken Bow, OK. He was affiliated with the Glover Assembly of God Church in Glover, OK.
Don enjoyed riding horses, roping, building fences, sitting outside, working in the yard. He was his kids and grandchildren’s biggest supporter. He loved watching his sons rope when they were younger. Don loved life and will be greatly missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Lynn Davis; son, Wasey Davis; parents, Emmett and Alma Davis; brother, Clarence Davis and sister, Juanita
Don is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Casey Davis and Helen of Fouke, AR; daughter-in-law, Amber Davis of Doddridge, AR; grandchildren, Ann Marie, Elizabeth Ann, Skyleh, Dewayne, C.W., Kyle, Shyanne and Mylee; great-grandchildren, Paityn, Sage, Ryker, Rooks, Realynn and Kayson; brother, L.D. Davis of Omaha, TX; sister, Violet Camp and husband, Carl of Broken Bow, OK, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Glover Cemetery, Glover, OK with Bro. Ben Pollock officiating.
