Donley M Aaron passed from this life Monday, July 24, 2023 at the age of 87. He was born October 31, 1935 in Woodland, TX to parents, Oscar and Julia (McCleskey) Aaron.

Donley enjoyed watching tv, playing dominoes, solitaire and liked to tinker with projects. He loved his children and grandchildren and his church. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wives, Demetra Toula Aaron and Floyce Thompson; parents, Oscar and Julia Aaron; son, Oscar Aaron; grandson, Moses Aaron; brothers, R.C. Aaron, David Aaron, Stanley Aaron and Joel Aaron; sisters, Miram Louise Gilstrap and Nell Herd.

Donley is survived by his daughter, Maria Aaron of Broken Bow; stepdaughter, Shirley Cowen of Texarkana; grandchildren, Julia Aaron, Alexa Rethman, Matthew Rethman and Michael Don Brantley all of Broken Bow, Brandon Cowen of Texarkana; a host of special nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 27th at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 28th at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oak Hill Community.
