Donna Highfill Obituary

Donna Highfill, 85, of Broken Bow, OK completed her earthly journey on January 16, 2024. She was born January 11, 1939, in Oklahoma City, OK to parents, Paul and Pauline (Wilson) Dalke.


Donna was a devoted member of the Good News Fellowship Church, she loved reading her Bible, Church was very important to her. She was an extremely good seamstress and enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, watching the birds in her yard, coloring and in younger years enjoyed growing flowers and plants. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to the Nutrition Center and playing bingo.


She is preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Highfill; parents, Paul and Pauline Dalke; two brothers; father-in-law, Melvin Highfill and mother-in-law, Vertal Highfill.


Donna leaves to cherish her memory son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Highfill of Durant, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Britt Stark of Haworth, OK, son and daughter-in-law, James David and Crystal Highfill of Broken Bow, OK; sister, Shirley Raprich of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren, Eric Stark and wife, Monica, Shawn Stark and wife, Caitlin, Bryan Stark and wife, Morgan, Alaina Richardson and husband, Robert and Savannah Highfill; five great-grandchildren; a host of other family and friends.


Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2024 at Bunch-Singelton Funeral Home.


Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Good News Fellowship Church, Broken Bow, OK with Dr. Doug Deramus officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill, OK.
