Dorothy Helen Scott

Dorothy Helen Scott, 95, of Wright City, entered her Heavenly home, December 3, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Dorothy was born, May 20, 1925 to James Albert and Emily Scott in Burksville, Kentucky.

Dorothy was a long-time member of Wright City First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and sewing. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved her home to be immaculate. Dorothy loved her family, and she always had a cake baked if she knew you were coming. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, James Albert and Emily Scott; son, Johnny David Scott; grandson, Jimmy Ray Harris Jr.; sisters, Opal Davis, Agnes Smith and Ruby Veteto; brothers, James Scott, John Scott, Imon Scott, Grady Scott, Marshall Scott, Junior Scott and Edgar Scott.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, son, Jimmie Joe Scott and wife Barbara, Las Vegas, NV, daughters, Jackie Harris of Valliant, OK, Wilma Hughes and husband Dean Hughes II of Sapulpa, OK, Jan Morgan of Durant, OK; grandchildren, Stephanie Kelly, Jimmie Scott, Brian Scott, Kari Stuart, Khristina Thomas, Lance Harris, Tori Howard, Tamra Beck, Anayiah Harris, Britney Scott, Shawntae Hall, Johnathan Morgan, Dean Mack Hughes III, Carissa Ernce; great grandchildren, Josh, Nick, Mackson, Leeland, Coby, Alivia, Weston, Ryker, Bailey, Braylee, Brinton, Luke, McKinnley, Josiah, Landrey, Raegan, Luke, Mykah and Mattison Axton, Alijah, Alexandra ,Justus, Isaac, Lydia and three great- great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Viewing for family and friends will be Monday December 7, 2020 from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Moran Cemetery Valliant, OK., with Bro. Jimmy Smalling and Bro. Randy Watkins officiating.
