Dortha Stovall

Dortha Stovall, age 72, passed away on September 9, 2022 in Texarkana, TX. She was born the daughter of Jim A. Stovall and Dorothy Carr on August 18, 1950 in Denison TX.

Dortha greatly enjoyed getting together and spending time with her children and family.  She also loved cooking and baking as well as playing poker and gambling.   Dortha will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dortha is preceded in death by her parents, Jim A. Stovall and Dorothy Carr; daughter, Amber Billington; brothers, Jim Stovall Jr., Curtis Stovall, Jesse Stovall, Henry Stovall, and Tommy Stovall; sisters, Elsie Stovall and Beverly Ann Moore.

She is survived by her children, Richard “Buggy” Grice and Rhonda Grice, Tammie Claborn and Clint Keeney, Robby Billington and Valerie Billington, all of Eagletown, OK; brothers, Mitchell and Carla Stovall of Eagletown, OK, Bill and Elizabeth Stovall of Amarillo, TX, Eddie and Carla Stovall of Amarillo, TX, Willie Stovall of Duncan, OK and Pete Stovall; sisters, Donna “Rusty” Roush of Eagletown, OK, Theresa Leonard  of Amarillo, TX, and Cissy Hinojasa of Fort Worth, TX; nine Nan Kids; and numerous Great Nan Kids.

Graveside services will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Eagletown Cemetery.
