Ernestine Allen

On April the 27th,  2020, Ernestine Allen made her journey to heaven from Edmond, OK. She was born July 7, 1929 in Idabel, OK to William and MaryLee (Mayabb) Mayhall. She was the 7th child of 7 children.

Ernestine grew up in Idabel, graduated from high school, and married the love of her life, “Bill” SD Allen on January 31, 1947. Bill preceded her in death on April 21, 1999.

Bill and Ernie had 4 children, Eddie, Billie, Barbie, and Lori. They enjoyed their kids, spending time together, and had great times with their musician fiddler friends. Ernestine enjoyed being a wife, homemaker, and mother. She loved cooking, sewing, was an avid reader, and diligently studied her Bible.        

Ernestine is survived by her son, Eddie D Allen and wife Gail, and her daughters, Billie L Walker and husband Bob Walker, Barbie A Allen, Lori R Allen; her granddaughter, J Amy Jaques and husband Wes Jaques, her grandson Robert’s wife, Deborah A Burke, and granddaughters Candy Allen, Jenny Ayres and husband Troy Ayres, Nikki Haupt and husband Thomas Haupt.  She had 9 great grandchildren, Nathan A Burke, Jonathan A Burke, Ridge A R Nicar, Fallon B Nicar, Abby Jaques, Isaiah Haupt and Josh Vandeventer, Gracie Walker, Jett Walker.  And one sister, Maxine Squires. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, “Bill” SD Allen, her grandson, Robert A Burke, her father and mother William and MaryLee Mayhall, one sister, Gladys Cavender, 4 brothers, Arthur Mayhall, William Mayhall, Floyd Mayhall, and Otis Mayhall.
