Ethel Louise Vance

Ethel Louise Vance, 100, completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in Idabel, OK. She was one of nine children born to William Joseph and Effie (Bates) Dickerson on July 8, 1923, in Arkinda, Arkansas.

Ethel worked at the Nursing Home as a Cook for many years. She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales and thrift stores. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard James Vance; seven brothers, Carter, Sammy, Aubrey, Paul, Homer, Cleve and Frank Dickerson; one sister, Dovie Painter.

She leaves to cherish her memory sister, Idell Gallovich of Broken Bow; special nephew, Randall Dickerson of Eagletown; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Howard Jones officiating. Interment to follow at Eagletown Cemetery, Eagletown, OK.
