Franke Gene Ott, of Valliant, passed from this life, June 25, 2020, at the age of 58. He was born, March 14, 1962, in Shawnee, OK, to Franke Harold Ott and Phyllis Janet (Petchinsky) Ott. He and Teresa Braddy were united in marriage, June 2, 1984, in Hochatown, OK, they spent 36 wonderful years together.
Frank Gene Ott was the owner and operator of Ott’s Concessions, along with his wife and family. He had been in the food industry since he was 15 years old. He had a love for cars and an even bigger love for his animals. He was a caring and providing husband. He was also, a stern, but caring and wise father.
His favorite pastime was traveling with his wife and driving his Jeep through the mountains of Colorado, once saying that, “it was heaven on earth.”
He had countless family and friends from his years in the concession business, and he loved them all unconditionally. He will truly be missed by all who came into his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franke Harold Ott; grandparents, Troy and Bessie Ott, and Everett and Phyllis Petchinsky; sister, Julie Lynn Ott; fur child, Sassy.
Frank is survived by his wife, Teresa, of the home; mother, Janet Ott-Smith and husband, Mike, of Shreveport, LA; children, Brandon Ott and wife, Kayla, and Kaylee Ott, both of Valliant; fur children, Buddy, Bruno, and Bella; brothers, Anthony Ott and wife, Earnie, of Idabel, Terry Ott and wife, Michelle, of Blanchard, OK, Dave Koons and wife, Shirley, of Hennessey, OK; grandchildren, Patience, Charisma, Kanaan, and Carlie Ott; grand dogs, Apache, Niko, and Arya; nieces and nephews, Reva and Micah Ott, and Matthew and Amy Braddy; special friend, DeAnn McMurl and husband, Randy; as well as, many, many, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Bank where an account has been set up to cover final expenses.
A Celebration of Life Remembrance Service will be held on, July 25, 2020, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, at the Ott Family Home, 529 Beaver Dam Rd. in Valliant. The meal is potluck, please bring a dish and a story to share of Frank.
