Frank D Brown passed from this life Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the age of 88. He was born September 22, 1934 in Glover, OK the son of Homer H. Brown and Celia (Tatum) Brown.
Frank was affiliated with Glover Baptist Church. He married the love of his life, Robbie Batchelor on December 9, 1955 and they shared sixty-seven wonderful years together. He was a devoted family man and Christian.
Frank served his country in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed talking about his military days. He was known for his honesty and integrity. His word was worth more than gold to all who knew him. He enjoyed deer hunting and taking care of his cattle and horses. He loved hosting family gatherings for his family as well as extended family. Spending time with his loving wife, Robbie, was his top priority. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Celia Brown; brother, Willie Ray Brown; sister, Syble Royce Brown and great-granddaughter, Julie Underwood.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Robbie Brown of the home; children, Mark Brown (Shannon), Teresa Newman (Don), Michael Brown (Kim) all of Broken Bow, Debbie Brown Baxter (Patrick) of Fredericksburg, TX, Clint Brown (Kim) of Broken Bow; brothers, James O. Brown (Francis) of Shawnee, OK, Sidney Brown (Mary Ann) of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Tara Brown Barker, Amanda Clay, Jarrett Underwood, Jamie Underwood, Rebecca Reich, Brooke Brown, Ocean Brown Jefferson and Clinton D. Brown; a host of great-grandchildren; a special great-granddaughter, Kristan Brown; special great-grandsons, Colton and Axton Brown; a special friend, like a brother to Frank, Lawrence Jackson; numerous other relatives and a multitude of friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside Services are set for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Glover Cemetery, Glover, OK with Pastor Jimmy Jeter and Bro. Lynn Tomlinson officiating.
