Franklin Taylor age 91, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was born on March 2, 1928 in Corine, Oklahoma the son of Nolin Taylor and Eliza Jackson. Franklin enjoyed listening to the Choctaws singing, loved the outdoors and enjoyed being with his family and having family dinners. Franklin was a member of the Tohwali United Methodist Church.
Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Nolin and Eliza Taylor; brother, Watson Taylor; sister, Amanda James; nieces and nephews, Jerry Noah, Jr, Michael Noah, Gregory Noah, Freda Tisho; brothers-in-law, Jacob James and Jerry Noah, Sr.
Franklin leaves to cherish his memory his nieces and nephews, Gary and Tamara Noah, Ray and Reda Jessie, Lucretia Noah all of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Roberta and Morris Sam of Wilburton, Oklahoma, and Richard and Jenetta Jackson and numerous other great-nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A wake will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at the Tohwali United Methodist Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Bro. Ray Jessie officiating.
Interment will follow at the Tohwali Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
