Fredia Ann Baker, age 63, passed away on September 8, 2025 in Texarkana, Texas. Born in DeQueen, Arkansas, on August 21, 1962, to Fred and Marquitta (Meredith) Baker.

Fredia was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Fred and Marquitta Baker, her sister Karen Marie Baker, her maternal and paternal grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and one great-nephew.

Fredia is survived by her brother, Keith Baker and his wife JoAnn of Grannis, Arkansas, her sister Carla Hahan of Texarkana, Arkansas, her aunt, Karon Jones and her husband, Jerry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, her niece, Amanda, and her nephews, Brandon, Kyle, Justin, and Derek; her great-nieces and nephews, Kyla, Jenny, Bradley, Austin, Dalton, Ella, and Alyssa. Her special cousin, Tammy Payne, and her treasured friends, Letha and Keith, Lani, Stephanie and Rex, and Jack Rabbit. They, along with her beloved church family and a host of other family members and friends.

A faithful member of Buchanan Baptist Church in Texarkana, Texas. Her love for bird watching and the delight she took in feeding her hummingbirds reflected her appreciation for the simple joys of nature. Aunt Karon enjoyed many cherished visits with Fredia, sharing stories and laughter.

Holidays were a special time for Fredia, who loved spending them with her neighbors, Her presence was a staple at the church's potluck dinners, where she would relish both the food and the fellowship.
