Geneva Kay Johnson passed from this life Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the age of 68. She was born the tenth child of Dexter and Laura Bell (Robey) Gamble on December 31, 1954 in Klamath Falls, OR.
Kay was a friendly face for many years at Rowan’s Cleaners and loved by her customers. Kay enjoyed working in her yard taking care of her flowers and going to the Casino. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dexter and Laura Bell Gamble; three brothers, Marvin Gamble, Dexter “Junior” Gamble and David Lyn Gamble; two sisters, Janis Patton and Mae Gamble Pierce; son, William G Johnson III.
Kay leaves to cherish her memory husband, William “Flash” Johnson II of the home; children, Doug and wife, Misty Barrick, John Punneo and wife, Donita “Sissy”; brothers, Buddy Gamble (Bobbie), Jerry Gamble (Betty), Mike Gamble (Vicki); sisters, Pat Peavy (Robert), Gladys “Ruthie” Elrod, Charlie Riggs (Tommy), Vallrie Perkins (Gene), Faye Dixon (Sherman); grandchildren, Cheyenne Punneo, Garyt Segraves, Brennan Barrick, Shaelyn Johnson, Shiley Johnson; great-grandson, Richie “Talon” Segraves a host of nieces, nephews who held a special place in her heart and a multitude of friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is set for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Victory Life Church, Broken Bow, OK with Pastor Jimmy Jeter officiating.
