Geneva Watts

Geneva Watts entered her heavenly home Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the age of 88. She was one of nine children born to David D and Rosa (Kuykendall) Wolfe on September 22, 1932 in Ringold, OK.

Geneva was a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, hunting and spending time with her family and friends. Her nieces and nephews enjoyed visiting and have fond memories of going fishing with her. We will never forget her laughter. She was a resident of Broken Bow Health & Rehab for the last several years and enjoyed attending their church services there.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Rosa Wolfe; husband, J.C. Watts; sisters, Almeda and Roxie Morris; brothers, Frank, Willie Dean and Mack Wolfe; several other family members.

Geneva leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Susie Gunter and husband, George of Spencerville, OK, son, Don Watts and wife Judy of Perkins, OK; grandchildren, Melissa Gunter, James Gunter, Stacy Acord and Donald Watts; great-grandchildren, Austin Gunter, Andrew Vanbuskirk, Aaron Vanbuskirk, Gabriel Gunter and Bryce Gunter, Taylor Watts, Avery and Payton Acord; great-great granddaughter, Addison Kay Gunter; sister, Vallie Mae Gibson of Broken Bow, OK; brothers, JD Wolfe and Shirley of Millerton, John Wolfe and Barbie of Atoka; a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Faith Way Church in Rufe, OK with Bro. Ronnie Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Rufe Cemetery.
