George L. Worsham, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather passed away on December 10, 2025, in DeQueen, Arkansas. Born on October 12, 1951, in Bakersfield, California.
A proud veteran and a devout member of the Assemblies of God, George dedicated 28 years of service to the US Army Corps of Engineers. His commitment to his country was matched only by his passion for ranching, which he pursued for 23 years. George's love for the land was evident in the care he took of his farm and the countless hours spent in his shop maintaining his equipment. His helping hands and generous spirit were well-known in the community, often being the first to offer assistance to those in need.
George relished the time spent with his wife and family. Camping trips, hunting and card games were cherished activities that brought joy and laughter to all involved. An avid bowler, he enjoyed being part of a team for 16 years. George's evenings were often spent watching television or engaging in playful moments with his grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ned Worsham and Karl Jimmie Bond; stepfather, Fred Chance; his brother, Leon Worsham, his sister, Barbara Ann Stout and infant half sister, Audrey Worsham.
