Glen Dale Obituary

Glen “Red” Dale, age 82, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Red was born, August 19, 1937 in a log cabin in Hochatown, OK. He was the son of Felix Dale and Hulen and Lorene Penner. He graduated from Broken Bow High School. He served 3 years in the U.S. Army, where he was Military Police. He was in law enforcement for 25 years and was the first investigator for McCurtain County D.A.’s office. He then drove a truck for Jimmy Tucker Trucking for 30 years. Red was a very devout Christian, who loved and loved to serve his Lord and Savior.

Red was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dale; parents, Felix Dale and Hulen and Lorene Penner; siblings, Deryle Penner and wife Jennell, Wanda Webb and husband, Vick, Phyliss Vice and husband, Winford; sister-in-law, Kay Dale; and son, Tony Dale.

Red is survived by his brother, Billy “Bo” Dale, of Ringold, OK; children, Charlotte Daniel and partner, Wesley Henson, of St. Francisville, LA, Billy Dale and wife, Tracy, of Garvin, OK, Bobby Dale, of Stillwater, OK, Patricia Vice and husband, Rick, of Atoka, OK, Glenda Whiteman and husband, Richard, of Holly Creek, OK, James Daniel IV and wife, Christie, of Prairieville, LA; as well as, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on, Thursday, August 20, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home – Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM, Friday, August 21, 2020, at the Hochatown Cemetery, with Bro. Jimmy Jeter officiating.
