Glenda Sue Smith, age 76, of Broken Bow, entered into rest, February 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Glenda was born December 26, 1944, in Idabel, OK, to A.B. Tidwell and Leona (Jessie) Tidwell.
She and Walter Smith were united in marriage, March 10, 1962, in Broken Bow, OK, they got to enjoy each other’s company for 58 wonderful years.
Glenda enjoyed cooking and baking, arts and crafts, and canning. She also enjoyed bowling and playing cards and board games. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of the Chapel of the Pines Baptist Church.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, A.B. and Leona Tidwell; and one grandchild, Devin Bunch.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Walter Joe Smith, of the home; three daughters, Tonja Tomlinson and husband, Allen, Rhonda Jo Smith, and Angela Bunch and husband, Brandt Whitaker, all of Broken Bow; brother, Jerry Tidwell, of Enid, OK; two sisters, Pat Ward, of Redland, and Carol Davis, of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Miranda James, Maegan Clark, Britta Shomo, Joshua Tomlinson, Dakota Bunch, and Brinnar Bunch; 15 great-grandchildren; as well as, many other family and friends.
A viewing for Glenda will be from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be, 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home, with Bro. John Crow officiating.
