Harley Pitchford, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 66 in Oklahoma City, OK. Born on July 3, 1959, in DeQueen, AR the son of Harley Pitchford, Sr. and Dorothy Jane Norman.
Harley's work ethic was evident in his many years of dedicated service at Weyerhaeuser, where he held the position of Millwright. He enjoyed working with Keeping Hochatown Beautiful Association. An avid outdoorsman, Harley enjoyed hunting and fishing. He cherished these moments not only for the thrill of the sport but also for the opportunity to spend quality time with his children and grandchildren. His love for his family was paralleled only by his love for his dog, Robbie Joe, who was his faithful companion on many adventures.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jane James, stepfather Charley James, and father, Harley Pitchford, Sr.; stepson, Wesley Fines; brother, Phillip Pitchford and sister Lilly Jane Taylor; grandson, Heath Bryant Farley.
His life was enriched by the love and support of his family, including his devoted wife, Billie Jean Fines Pitchford, of the home, with whom he shared an unwavering partnership since their marriage on October 26, 2005. His legacy continues through his children: Tyson JayCole Pitchford and Angela of Millerton, Shawn Bryan and Jennifer of Millerton, OK, Ashley and Dusty Songer of Valliant, Ammon Leslie and Courtney Leslie of Millerton, and Amanda Jane Lewis of Wichita, KS. He was a proud grandfather to twenty-six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his sister, Phyllis Jane Rice of Boswell, OK; special friend, Janet Cress and the Janet's Treasure Chest Family of Hochatown, Heather England and The Idabel Family Practice family, and Albert and Gerry Imoe; special niece, Sarah Jane Fuller; a host of other relatives and friends.
A Private Memorial will be held at a later date.
