Helen Ashford, 84, of Broken Bow, passed from this life into eternity, on June 14, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wright City, Oklahoma, June 17, 1935, the daughter of Vernon and Lorene (Barnett) Logan.
Helen and James Ashford were united in marriage and shared 34 years together.
She enjoyed crocheting, going to the casino, to Colorado with James, and out to eat. Helen loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lorene Logan; son, Charlie Cunningham; sisters, Shirley Logan Burton, Darrel Logan; great grandson, Robert Roath.
Helen is survived by her husband, James Ashford, of the home; 5 children, Virginia Thompson, of Broken Bow, Elaine Luna and husband, Melvin, of Valliant, Susan Roath and husband Boyd “Grumpy” Roath, of Wright City, Rosemarie Huhn and husband, Dominik, of Arlington, TN, and Anna Edgefield and husband, Jerry, of Tampa, FL; sister, Anna Westbrook, of Wright City; 10 grandchildren, Jeanette French, Wayne McKeever, Chris Jamison, Kelly Brooks, Heather Washington, David Roath, Ty Roath, Charlie Thompson, Jacklyn Edgefield, and Jennifer Edgefield; 16 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; as well as, many other family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, on July 26, 2020, at the Pine Creek Lake Cove Area – F65, with Bro. Bob Stuart officiating.
