Helen Boone, 84, of Broken Bow passed away on January 8, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 23, 1941 in Kingsland, Arkansas, Helen’s life was a testament to the love and care she poured into her family and community.

Helen was of the Baptist faith, having attended the Tom Baptist Church in her younger years. Helen's love of life was evident in her many passions. She was an exceptional gardener, finding joy in the cultivation of her plants and flowers. Her love for canning captured the essence of her garden's bounty, sharing the fruits of her labor with all she knew. An avid domino player, music also played a significant role in her life, with many fond memories of her listening and dancing to the Backstreet Band at The Red Log Cabin. Helen and her husband, Charlie, were known for their open-door policy, always ready to welcome neighbors, friends, and family for a meal or support.

As we bid farewell to Helen, we are reminded of the warmth and light she brought into our lives.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Alta McNeil, her loving husband, Charlie W. Boone, her brothers, Jim Henry McNeill and Calvin McNeill, her grandson, Chad Ray Carper, and her great-grandchildren, Samantha Boone and Jeremy DeWayne Henslee.

Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Larry Gene Boone and wife, Sue of OKC, OK; Joy Taylor and husband, Bill of Maysville, OK; Debbie Hudson and husband, Grant of Broken Bow; Terry Boone and wife, Tonnie of Valliant; Pat Boone of Maysville, OK; Susan Fennell of Broken Bow; Sharon Percy and husband, Lee of Hochatown; and Kevin Madison of the home; sisters, Effie Mae Sullivan, Patricia "Pat" Routh and Kirk all of Idabel; her memory will also be cherished by her twenty-six grandchildren, seventy-six great-grandchildren, and thirty-three great-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home.

Funeral Services are set for 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK.
