Helen Marie Gipson passed from this life Monday, April 3, 2023 at the age of 74. She was born February 3, 1949 in Talihina, OK the daughter of Joshua and Dora “Tisho” Bohannon.

Helen enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with her family, gardening and doing yard work. She loved to watch basketball and football.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Stephen Gipson; sister, Salome Samuels.

Helen is survived by her children Gayla Gipson of Broken Bow;  Scott and wife Wyonne of Tulsa, OK; Steve and wife Jessica of Silver City,  New Mexico; Matt of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Kain Gaskey, Kaitlyn Gipson, Lauren Billie, Karee de la Rosa, Jaslyn Gipson, Peyton Thompson, Noella Gipson and MacKenzie Thompson, brothers, Doug Bohannon and Richard Bohannnon of Battiest, OK; sisters, Christene Parsons, Dorthy Bohannon and Magdeline Hominy of Oklahoma City, OK.

Funeral will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 10 AM at Bunch – Singleton Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Snow officiating. Burial will be at Kulli Chito Cemetery, Bethel, OK.
