Howard "Luke" Cogburn III

Howard “Luke” Cogburn passed from this life April 17, 2022 at the age of 54. He was born September 22, 1967 in DeQueen, AR to parents, Howard L. and Barbara (Hastings) Cogburn.

Luke’s hobbies included hunting, fishing and traveling all over the country with his work. He loved his family and his dogs, “Wiley” and “Cowboy”. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Helen Cogburn, Roy and Wanda Flaherty and Jim Mack Hastings; stepmother, Shirley Cogburn; stepfather, Richard Mathis.

Luke is survived by parents, Howard Cogburn and Barbara Mathis; daughter, Audrey Cogburn; brothers, Kelly Cogburn and Kenneth Mathis; sisters, Sandra Sawyer and Judy Thacker; fiancé, Jessica Brown and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Thursday morning, June 9, 2022 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
