J.W. Palmer

J.W. Palmer entered his heavenly home, Thursday September 2,2021, at the age of 75.

He was born June 1,1946 in Golden, OK to parents John Homer Palmer and Myrtle Gladys (Nunn) Palmer.

J.W. enjoyed woodworking and upholstery work, he also spent time reading his Bible and loved his cat Sandy.  He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as SGT E-5. He served two years in Korea and one year in Germany as well as his time serving state side.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrtle Palmer; sister, Cathy Palmer.

He leaves to cherish his memory, brother, Clyde Palmer and wife Sue of Valliant, OK; sisters, Wanda Campbell of Valliant, OK, Opal Husted of Mena, AR; Several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 7,2021 at Glover Cemetery with Rev. Mike Mings officiating.
