Jacky Russell Nave, Jr., passed away on August 1. 2025 at the age of 44 years in Washington, Utah after a year-long battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Jacky was born in De Queen, Arkansas on August 22, 1980, to Carla (Coleman) Manuel and Jacky Nave, Sr. Jacky graduated from Rosamond (California) High School in the Spring of 2001 and joined the United States Air Force shortly thereafter. His first assignment was with the Air Force Security Police (SP) at Fairchild AFB, in Spokane, Washington. After the terrorist attack on 9-11, Jacky deployed the next month to the Middle East as part of Operation Enduring Freedom where he protected the troops and their facilities.  Jacky returned to the States a year later and eventually separated from the Air Force, moving to central Florida to be close to his family.  Jacky lived in Florida and California before settling in Utah, where he found his passion working on/with cars. 

Jacky was proceeded in death by his grandparents AW and Pearlie Mae Slabaugh, grandmother Sandra Terry, his uncle’s Joe Coleman and Mike Manuel, his aunt Jodi Oliver, and cousins Brian Burgess and Dalton Compton.  He leaves behind his most precious gifts, daughter Kali and her mom Jacquelyn; Parents Carla and Greg Manuel; brother Jonathan (Lindsey) Nave, Francisco (Jacqueline) Becerra; Sister’s Karlee (Patrick) Jaeger, and Kaitlin (Cameren) Spiros; Nephew’s Jordan Nave, and Callum Spiros; Niece’s Cheyenne and Bextley Nave, and Gianna and Joelle Becerra; Grandparents Carl Coleman & Priscilla Coleman, along with many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
