James Fortune Obituary

James Fortune, age 54, of Eagletown, Oklahoma, passed from this life, March 17, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was born on April 20, 1966 to Travis Harold Fortune and Donna (Miller) Fortune, in Lone Pine, California.

James enjoyed going hunting and fishing and spend time outdoors. He liked being around his friends and family. He was a member of the Eagletown Assembly of God Church.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Donna Fortune; and a baby sister, Sherry Fortune.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Tiffany Compton, of Broken Bow; brother, Billy Fortune, of Eagletown; sisters, Marilyn Lawrence, of California; and Denise Doyle, of Colorado; 2 grandchildren, Slyder and Braxton, of Broken Bow; as well as, many other family and friends.

Graveside services for James will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at the Eagletown Cemetery, with Bro. Mark Duren officiating.
